Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to quality education and instructional innovation, the Davao Oriental International Technology College successfully conducted Day 1 of its two-day In-Service Training and Seminar-Workshop titled “Designing Effective OBE Syllabi: Aligning to Outcomes, Assessment, and Instruction”, alongside a Learning Management System (LMS) Re-Orientation, on April 23, 2026, at the DOIT College Activity Center.

The activity gathered faculty members from various academic programs, all actively engaging in discussions and collaborative workshops aimed at strengthening the institution’s implementation of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE). The training focused on aligning course outcomes with appropriate assessment methods and instructional strategies—ensuring a more structured, student-centered approach to teaching and learning.

In addition, the LMS Re-Orientation provided educators with updated knowledge and practical strategies in utilizing digital learning platforms more effectively. This initiative supports the integration of technology in education, enhancing both teaching delivery and student engagement in an increasingly digital academic environment.

Through this initiative, DOIT College reinforces its dedication to continuous improvement, academic excellence, and quality assurance in higher education. By equipping its educators with relevant tools and updated pedagogical approaches, the institution ensures that its students receive responsive and outcomes-driven instruction.

As the training continues into Day 2, participants are expected to further refine their course designs, strengthen alignment in their teaching practices, and elevate the overall learning experience within the institution.

With efforts like these, DOIT College continues to uphold its mission of delivering innovative, effective, and globally responsive education.
