With a strong spirit of service and unity, the Davao Oriental International Technology College proudly highlights the successful implementation of its Community Extension Activities under the National Service Training Program (NSTP), reaffirming its commitment to civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

On April 17, 2026, the initiative Project Luntian Katilingban: A CWTS Community Immersion for Clean & Environmental Renewal was successfully conducted in Guang-Guang, Barangay Dahican, Mati City. Students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Culinary Restaurant Technology (BIndTech-CRT) actively participated in the activity, working hand in hand with local residents to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and sustainable practices. Their collective efforts demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility toward preserving nature and fostering a healthier community.

The momentum continued on April 18, 2026, as another meaningful Community Outreach Program was carried out in Licop District, Barangay Sainz, still within Mati City. This initiative was led by students from the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, alongside BIndTech-CIT participants. The program focused on community engagement and service support, extending assistance to residents while strengthening the bond between the institution and the community it serves.

These initiatives form part of DOIT College’s broader mission to cultivate leadership, volunteerism, and social awareness among its students. Through the NSTP, learners are given opportunities to step beyond the classroom and become active contributors to societal development.
