Davao Oriental International Technology College (DOIT College) successfully conducted its Student Orientation Day for the 2nd Semester on January 17, 2026, at the DOIT College Activity Center. The event marked the official opening of the second semester and welcomed students to a new academic term filled with learning opportunities and growth.

The orientation was attended by students from various academic programs, including Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA), and Bachelor of Industrial Technology (BINDTECH) with majors in Culinary and Restaurant Technology (CRT) and Computer and Information Technology (CIT). Diploma students from Diploma in Tourism Management (DTM), Diploma in Hospitality Management (DHM), and Diploma in Culinary Arts Technology (DCAT) also participated in the event.

Gracing the occasion was Mr. Ronald S. Sabandal, President of DOIT College, whose presence highlighted the institution’s strong leadership and commitment to student development. He was joined by the college’s faculty and staff, who provided important orientations on academic policies, institutional values, student services, and expectations for the semester.

The activity served as a platform to strengthen unity among students, align them with the college’s vision and mission, and inspire them to pursue excellence in their respective fields. It also reaffirmed DOIT College’s dedication to delivering quality, relevant, and student-centered education.
