The Annual CAHFTHE–DR 4th Quarter Meeting was successfully conducted at the Davao Oriental International Technology College (DOIT College) Activity Center, marking another milestone in strengthening collaboration among higher education institutions in Region XI.

The gathering brought together key representatives and stakeholders from various higher education institutions across the region, fostering meaningful discussions, shared insights, and collaborative initiatives aimed at advancing excellence in hospitality, tourism, and related academic fields.

The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Leomar Jay R. Oblianda, CHED Education Supervisor II, whose guidance highlighted the importance of continuous academic excellence, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance among higher education institutions.

Also gracing the occasion was Ms. Tanya Rabat-Tan, Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DOT) Region XI, whose support and insights underscored the importance of unified efforts toward sustainable tourism development and strengthened academic–industry partnerships.

On behalf of the institution, Mr. Ronald S. Sabandal, CEO and President of DOIT College, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to CAHFTHE–DR for choosing DOIT College as the venue for the significant regional gathering.
