The Davao Oriental International Technology College, Inc. will hold its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Training 2026 for the first batch of first-year students as part of the institutionβs NSTP program. The activity aims to equip students with essential knowledge, preparedness, and practical skills needed during emergencies, calamities, and disasters.
The training will feature discussions, drills, and hands-on demonstrations focusing on disaster preparedness, emergency response, fire safety awareness, and community cooperation. Students are expected to actively participate in activities designed to develop leadership, discipline, resilience, and compassion in times of crisis.
Invited resource speakers include Mr. Leoj Ray P. Mara β CDRRMO together with personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection namely SFO2 Kristoffer B. Ang, FO2 John Kean P. Bandigan, FO1 Christian Louie D. Raga, FO1 Jerry Robin L. Vallar, FO1 Joly Mae M. Tejano, and FO1 Jade A. Pajuyo. Faculty members, NSTP coordinators, partner agencies, and students will also take part in the activity to ensure a meaningful and impactful learning experience.
Through this initiative, DOIT College continues to promote a culture of preparedness, safety, and service while empowering students to become responsible citizens and future leaders ready to respond whenever their communities need them most.
