Mabuhay, Madayaw! 🇵🇭
The Davao Oriental International Technology College, Inc. proudly celebrates the successful conduct of its recent symposium entitled “Promoting HIV Awareness and Mental Wellness for a Healthier and Informed Community,” held at the DOIT College Activity Center.
Anchored on the inspiring theme “Kalinga at Kamalayan: HIV Awareness for a Healthier and Informed Community and Promoting Mental Wellness,” the event served as a meaningful platform for NSTP students to deepen their understanding of two critical aspects of well-being—HIV awareness and mental health.
The symposium was both informative and engaging, made possible through the expertise and dedication of esteemed resource speakers Francis Rhey D. Reancho and Eugene B. Syting. Their insightful discussions, delivered with passion and clarity, empowered students to become more aware, compassionate, and proactive in fostering a healthier and more informed community.
Participants gained valuable knowledge on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and the importance of mental wellness in everyday life. The activity also encouraged open dialogue, promoting a culture of understanding, empathy, and care among the students.
The institution extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative. As DOIT College continues to champion health education and awareness, this symposium stands as a testament to its commitment to building a community grounded in knowledge, compassion, and social responsibility.
May this initiative continue to inspire awareness, understanding, and a culture of care within and beyond the institution.
