The spirit of excellence, unity, and world-class skills was officially ignited as the Kick-off Ceremony of the 2026 Regional Skills Olympics successfully took place at the Korean-Philippines Technical Vocational Training Center – Regional Training Center of Davao.

Held from March 23–26, 2026, this much-anticipated event brings together the most talented and skilled competitors from various Technical Training Institutions (TTIs) and Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) across the Davao Region. Each participant is given the opportunity to showcase their expertise, creativity, and passion in their respective trade areas, promoting excellence in technical-vocational education.

Davao Oriental International Technology College, Inc. (DOIT College) proudly represents the Province of Davao Oriental in this prestigious competition. Competing in five trade areas, DOIT College’s participants, together with their dedicated experts, are fully prepared and inspired to demonstrate not only their technical competencies but also their discipline, determination, and commitment to excellence.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi, CESO III, whose leadership continues to strengthen and elevate the vision of technical-vocational education in the region. Also present was the ever-supportive Provincial Director of Davao Oriental, Engr. Richard Amparo, whose encouragement continues to inspire and empower aspiring skilled professionals.
